What's new

Tintboard updates reach you automatically: the apps update on Atlassian, and the browser stores update the extension.

4 November 2026

• Redesigned settings page in Jira: tabs, a swatch colour picker, card rules that read as sentences, Save always at the top, problems explained in plain words before saving. Follows Jira's light or dark theme.
• New card rule conditions: parent or epic, component, summary contains, and not updated for N days.
• "Colours" button on boards explains what each colour means. Admins can turn it off; each person can hide it.

3 November 2026

• Board column colours, with an optional limit: the title turns red when a column holds more cards.
• "Assigned to the person looking" and "due within N days" conditions.
• Ready-made schemes: Scrum basics, Support team and Bugs first.
• Colour-blind-safe palette, next to the Tintboard palette.

Beta

The first version for beta teams: label, status and card colours on boards, the backlog, list view, search and the issue view; issue view comfort; Confluence reading comfort for the site, each space and each reader.
